Your Financial Information Deserves Protection.
Control Total is built to work with services you already trust instead of collecting more of your data than it needs.
Bank connections run through Plaid
You sign in through Plaid's own interface. Control Total never receives or stores your bank username or password — it only receives a revocable access token, which stops working when you disconnect the bank.
Your records stay with your account
Transactions, cards, goals, reminders and alerts are created under your user account and restricted to it, so other users cannot read or change your financial activity.
Payments on a secure checkout
Premium subscriptions are processed by Base44 Payments. Your card details are entered there, not in Control Total, and the app only stores your subscription status.
AI you switch on yourself
AI features are off until you use them, run only when you trigger them from inside the app, and can be turned off at any time with the AI master switch.
What Control Total does not do
- We do not ask for or store your online banking username or password.
- We do not sell your financial records.
- We do not run AI features in the background without you starting them.
- We do not report anything to credit bureaus or act as a credit bureau.
